🧩 The short version: Word Discovery doesn't require an account and doesn't collect your name or email. Your puzzle progress, coins, and achievements stay on your device. The app shows ads via Google AdMob, which independently collects some device/advertising data to serve those ads — details below.
What's stored on your device
Saved locally, never sent to us or any server we operate:
- Puzzle progress, completed levels, and stars earned
- Coins, hint tokens, and lives balance
- Achievements and your discovered-word collection
- Daily Challenge streak
This clears if you uninstall the app or wipe its storage from Android's App Info settings. If your phone's standard Android backup is on, this data may ride along in your own Google Account backup — that's managed entirely by Android/Google, not by us.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows banner ads and optional rewarded ads (e.g., to earn extra hints) using Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect your advertising ID, IP address, device/app info, and ad interaction data. Google acts as an independent data controller for this processing.

No access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files.
Children's privacy
Word Discovery is a general-audience word puzzle game and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared personal information with us, contact us below so we can address it.
Data sharing
We don't sell your information. Aside from AdMob's ad-serving data above, we don't share data with third parties — the app has no backend server or account system of its own.
Your choices
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored progress data.
- Opt out of personalized ads anytime via Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization, or at Google Ads Settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Updates are posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the update.
